Put your logo in an AI video — one scene where the brand held

October 25, 2026

Getting a real logo or product into AI video is harder than getting a face in. Describe it in words and the model invents a lookalike. Below is a real 10-second scene from nixm: one cast character, one logo bound as a prop, the mark printed on a takeaway cup and visible in every frame. What was asked, what the engine actually needs, what it cost, and the bug that used to turn the logo into the words "#Image1".

What was asked

The character is Lilly, cast once from a still and used across earlier tests. The logo is KORVA: a red circle, a white triangle, the wordmark under it. It was uploaded to the signal as a reference and labelled "korva logo".

The ask was a café beat: Lilly at the counter, holding a takeaway cup printed with the logo, facing camera. nixm proposed the shot in a few lines and showed the receipt: cast Lilly, prop korva logo, 10 seconds, 2 video credits. Then it waited for a yes.

What rendered

The KORVA logo reference as uploaded: red circle, white triangle, wordmark.
The reference. This exact image is what gets bound to the cup.
As rendered: 10 seconds, 1920×1080, sound generated in the same pass. Nothing was edited afterwards.
Mid-clip frame: Lilly holding the cup, the KORVA mark facing camera, partly behind her fingers.
Around three seconds in. The circle, the triangle and the wordmark are reproduced from the uploaded image, not invented. Her fingers cover part of it, which is what a real hand on a real cup does.

Two things to notice. The mark is the reference: same red, same triangle, same type, in the same proportions. And Lilly is Lilly: the cast reference held her face while the prop held the brand. Four references is the budget for a scene, cast and props together; this one used two.

Why words don't work for a logo

A text-to-video clip has no reference image in it at all. "A cup with a red circle logo" gets you a red circle, drawn fresh, different in every render. For a face that is the stranger problem covered in why AI video drops your references. For a brand it is worse, because a brand is the one thing that cannot be approximately right.

The fix is the same as for a face: bind the image. On nixm a stored reference that is not a person is a prop. In the shot it is written as a token, never described: "a cup printed with #Image1", not "a cup with a red and white logo". The engine reproduces a bound image and invents a described one. One habit decides which you get.

Two engine limits, stated plainly:

  • A prop needs a person in the shot. A logo alone is not a scene. Put a character in frame and give them the object. For a logo on its own, animate the logo image as a clip instead, the way a book cover becomes a title shot.
  • A print reads at medium or closer. At a wide shot a logo on a cup is a smudge. This shot is a mid, cup at chest height, which is why the mark is legible.

The bug that turned a logo into text

Until mid-October, some scenes with a prop came back with the literal words "#Image1" rendered on the object where the logo should have been. The engine documents the binding token as @Image1; nixm was sending #Image1 and the model guessed, usually right, sometimes not. The scene above was rendered with the one-line fix in place: the token now reaches the engine in the form it documents, and the prop bound as the image. Faces use their own token, which kept binding throughout.

How to get a brand into an AI video

  1. Upload the real asset. A clean logo on a plain background, or a product shot with the label straight on. Label it in the signal so it can be named.
  2. Cast a person. Any character, from a photo or a still nixm rendered. The prop rides with them.
  3. Say where it is, not what it looks like. "Holding a cup printed with the logo", "wearing the tee", "the bottle on the table, label to camera". nixm writes the token; you write the placement.
  4. Shoot medium or closer. The print has to be big enough to read.
  5. Keep it to one bound object. A shirt and a cup and a poster is three props plus a face: that fits the four-reference budget, but every extra reference is one more thing the engine has to hold at once.
  6. Extend if the shot is working. EXTEND continues the same shot for one more credit. The extension has no reference behind it, so the logo carries only as far as the footage does; we have not tested it on this scene.

What it cost

Uploading the logo: the one message it arrives with, 1 chat credit. The scene: 10 seconds, 2 video credits. Rendering took about nine minutes. Scenes now run 3 to 30 seconds at 1 video credit per 5, landscape or vertical, so a 15-second version is 3 credits and a 30-second spot in several shots is 6. At the 5-video pack that is roughly CA$8 for the 10-second scene, retakes not included.

frequently asked

Can AI video put my real logo in a scene?

Yes, if the tool binds the logo image as a reference rather than describing it in words. Described logos get redrawn and come back different every time; a bound logo is reproduced as the image.

Why does my logo look wrong in AI video?

Because it was described, not bound, or because the shot is too wide for a print to read. Upload the asset, have a character hold it, and keep the shot medium or closer.

Can I put a logo in a video with no person in it?

Not as a cast scene; a prop needs a character in frame. Animate the logo image itself as a clip instead: it becomes the first frame and the camera moves on it.

How many logos or products can one AI video scene hold?

On nixm a scene holds four references, cast and props together. One bound object beside one or two people is the simplest shot to get right.

What does a scene with a logo cost?

1 video credit per 5 seconds, from 3 to 30 seconds: 2 for 10 seconds, 6 for 30, with sound. Uploading the logo costs only the chat message it arrives with.
